Virgil Sylvester Smith "Virgil", age 65 passed away March 27, 2019 at Truman Medical Center. He was born on April 4, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Sterling Jones Smith SR and Margaret Fisher Smith. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He traveled and lived other places, such as California and Colorado. He attended Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked in the construction industry and for the City of Kansas City Services. <br />
He liked to travel and explore other cities. He was loved by family and friends. He had a humorous personality that family, friends, and even strangers loved to be entertained by. <br />
He was preceded into death by father, Sterling Jones Smith Sr.; mother, Margaret Fisher Smith; wife, Pamela Nolan Smith; brothers, Harry Smith, Larry Smith, Sterling Smith & Learoy Smith; and nephew, Desmond Smith. <br />
He leaves to cherish his memories ten children, Kenneth Bradford, Elease Evette Freeman, Virgil Bradford, Ayonda Jones (Steve), Moniece Davis (Don) & Tamika Smith, all of Kansas City, Missouri, Dominique Smith, Anna Marie Smith, Jesse Solis & Joshua Solis, all of Lakewood, Colorado; one brother, Lonnie Smith of Kansas City, Missouri; twelve grandchildren & nine great grandchildren; special cousin, Elizabeth Smith; special friend, Larry Byrd; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins; and other family members & friends.
