He always called me comrade, and we always sought each other out when we were at a shooting event together , whether it was at camp perry, ORCO, crooked creek, or any of the other shooting venues we attended. He had been a friend to Patricia Rebol and had gone to Solon sportsmen's for distance shooting. A real friend to our family and I will miss him alot. It will be a strange feeling to be looking for him and not seeing him the first few times I am attending events.

Victor was a supportive partner to my mother for 38 years and took care of her and many others in his life. He and I did not speak much, since he was a man of very few words, but the times we did were very meaningful: advice about where to dive and what equipment to get, talking about German history while I was living in Berlin (he had a deep interest in WW2 history), and how to take care of and learn how to properly use a gun. He gave me a generous gift when I graduated from college and prepared to move across the country.

His memory is a blessing to so many people and he will be greatly missed. People cared about him more than he ever knew.

    Dear Angela,
Our sympathy on the passing of your Dad & our Brother-in law. He was a fun & interesting "Uncle VIC" to your cousins who still have great memories of his time with them as youngsters. His interest in whats happening in Cleveland took us to some great places when we visited. We cherish those memories also. May he rest in peace.

Victor and I dove together for twenty years starting back in the late fifties. Since then we have kept touch and got together for a dive whenever we could. Victor wasn't just a dive partner but a friend and one of the best entertaining person you could ask for. I will always remember his humor and skill as a diver. Good by old buddy and may the angles take you on dives in the best locations you could imagine. I'll miss you terribly.

I will always remember the range times at Camp Perry and at ORCO and as a sniper buddy at my first sniper match at Perry. I enjoyed your stories and humor, and you will be missed by many that you got know over the years. Rest In Peace Vic!

I have been on dive trips with Vic since the 70's and he was laid back and quiet and then he would do or say something and everyone would be roaring. He was always fun to have on a trip and never a problem and I will miss our time together. Rest in peace.

Victor and I had a lot of great dives together in the US and Canada.
There was never a dull moment with Victor. He was forever entertaining everyone. The dinners following our dives were always an adventure. He’s on his eternal dive trip now.
