I met Richard when he first moved to Salisbury, NC. And wouldn't you know was at the Waffle House. Richard enjoyed going to a variety of places to eat...He had a great love for different types of food, however, he was limited to the foods he could eat due to having to rely on Coumadin for a health condition. But his favorite was Coffee at the Waffle House. Richard was an avid football fan and he loved the Carolina Panthers. He also enjoyed working cross-word puzzles and cryptogram puzzles. He could talk for hours about various rail road companies that spanned the country. He could recite the lines they ran on, what their names were when they were founded and the company that bought them. He could even recite the color schemes of their locomotive engines. Trains were his passion.
