July 1, 1960 - January 23, 2023Pamela Gayle Thorpe (Edmonds), born July 1, 1960, ran into the arms of her savior January 23, 2023. <br /> <br /> Beloved wife of Jeffrey Thorpe and cherished mother to Andrea, Michael (Sara née Kuczmarski), and Robyn. Daughter of the late Ernest and survived by Ruth Ann Edmonds. Sister of Debbie (Gery) Tanking, Greg (Melissa) Edmonds, and Russ Driscoll. Aunt to Jourdan, Madison, Joseph, and AJ. Great Aunt to Olivia, Blakeley, and Baylor. <br /> <br /> Pam's greatest love was her family, but there is a sneaking suspicion she loved her grandchildren most of all her life's treasures. McKenzie, Stella, Leona, Henry, Josslyn, and Harper adore their MawMaw and miss her beyond measure. <br /> <br /> It is with heavy hearts her family and friends say goodbye to a woman who loved deeply and fiercely. Who was always there for those in need. Who was only a phone call away.

We got a apartment together in Elgin and Andrea was just a little girl at the time and Pam was pregnant with Michael.Pam loved taco Bell and we would leave in the middle of the night to get Taco Bell for her because she was craving it and I used to bring Andrea skittles from work. Pam is actually the one that taught me how to drive a standard transmission car. I didn’t know how to drive a stick shift and she just threw the keys to her car to me and told me to take it and that was the way how I learned to drive a stick shift by driving it all over Elgin, I love you Pam I’m gonna miss you. Sorry we lost touch.❤️Your brother Russ
