Margaret Ann Swarts, 65, of Clovis, California, passed away at home on August 31, 2019 with her devoted husband and loving daughters by her side.
Margaret was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 23, 1953. She graduated from the University of California, Riverside and received a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She continued her studies at California State University of Fresno and Fresno City College where she concentrated her studies in the field of Respiratory Therapy.
She worked as a Respiratory Care Practitioner for Valley Children's Hospital for over 35 years before retiring. She loved traveling, especially to Maui, going to professional baseball games, and playing fast pitch softball. She also loved seeing the latest movies with her husband, walking her dogs each morning, going to the beach and spending time with her daughters and granddaughters.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Marie Mullen and sister, Marie K. Mullen. She is survived by her loving husband Terry, two daughters, Kristen and Katlin, and son-in-law Fred. A doting Grandmother to two granddaughters, Keira and Kaia. Dear sister of Patricia & Tony Rocha, Angela & Robert Akers, Charles & Ginger Mullen, James & Perla Mullen, Keith & Angela Swarts, Carl & Elizabeth Swarts, Martin & Lilybeth Swarts, Lanny & Kim Swarts, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
A Rosary will be held on September 19th, 6pm at Boice Funeral Home in downtown Clovis. The funeral service will be held on September 20th, 11am at 929 Harvard Ave, Clovis, CA at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on behalf of Divine Mercy. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Boice Funeral Home.
