Lindsay Marie Hostert

December 19, 1983 - June 10, 2020

Lindsay Marie Hostert (Evans) was born December 19, 1983, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Paula and Jeff Evans. She was the second oldest of four siblings. She grew up in the Ozarks and loved animals, sports, and always excelled at academics, and graduated Cassville High School.

Lindsay had a heart of gold, loved nature, and the ocean. She eventually made her way west, living in California and marrying, later establishing her family in Denver. Lindsay was always learning, loved children, and was passionate about education. She pursued this professionally and applied her gifts in her own home to the benefit of her daughters, as well.

Lindsay had the biggest, best smile and truly cared about everyone she met. She was a loyal soul who carried people in her heart, even if she hadn't spoken to them in years. She always looked towards the future and sought more and better.

She transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, and will be deeply missed.

Those entrusted to preserve her memory and celebrate her life include her biological daughters Kali and Kenidi, stepdaughter Kaydence, ex-husband and the extended Hostert family, her parents, siblings Nate Evans, Colin Evans, Jessica Shaw (Evans), the extended Evans family, as well as a host of childhood and adult friends.

A small, private memorial with immediate family will be scheduled for a later date when gatherings are advised.

I had the pleasure of working at the same Montessori preschool with Lindsay and caring for her sweet daughter Kenidi, as I was a teacher in the infant classroom. I saw firsthand the beautiful, loving, devoted mom Lindsay was to both of her girls. Her love will endure and protect Kali and Kenidi throughout their lives. Lindsay put her girls above all else, her positive energy and warm smiles directed at them always. She will be greatly missed.

Haven't seen in years because of distance but so enjoyed watching you and your siblings grow. Then seeing all the pictures of you and your daughters on Facebook. So much love. You will be greatly missed. You are with all our Angels above.
