Laura Danahy Thompson, 77, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on 10/16/2019. She was born to parents Laurence George Danahy and Lois Bartlett Danahy, on 01/13/1942 in Quincy, Massachusetts. <br /> <br /> She graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1960. <br /> <br /> Laura worked as a Title Examiner for 33 years. <br /> <br /> After 33 of service, She retired from South Florida Water Management District in 1995. <br /> <br /> She enjoyed Horseback Riding, Barrel Racing, Fishing, Dancing, Gardening, Breeding Dogs, Eating Lunch and Shopping With Friends, Decorating Her House For the Holidays, Celebrating Christmas and Birthdays with Family. <br /> <br /> Laura won many Barrel Racing Trophies in the 1970s. <br /> <br /> Laura met Robert Thompson in 1983. They were married on 1988 in West Palm Beach, Florida. <br /> <br /> Laura is survived by Jessica E. Nye, Daughter, Tracy L. Nye, Daughter, Brittany L. Nye, Granddaughter, Makala Johnson, Great-Granddaughter, Mashayla Johnson, Great-Granddaughter, Malaysia Lee, Great-Granddaughter, Clary Campbell, Great-Granddaughter, Robin Harrison, Stepdaughter, Robert Thompson, Husband. <br /> <br /> She was preceded in death by Laurence G. Danahy, Father, Lois Bartlett Danahy, Mother <br /> <br /> The family has entrusted Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory with the arrangements. Laura will be buried at the South Florida National Cemetery.
