December 30, 1945 - March 20, 2018

Kenneth Robert Moline (Kenny) 72 passed away on 3/20/2018 in Phoenix AZ from complications from Aspiration Pneumonia. He had received a double lung transplant 3 years ago on 1/23/15 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix and since receiving his second chance at life, he lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing, walking, and enjoyed the shooting range. He avidly promoted registering to be an organ donor and participated in Donate Life activities. <br /> <br /> He was born in Brush, CO to Roy Moline and Margaret Mertens. He was married to Annette Hamilton on 9/11/65. He has two daughters Ginger Shaw (Jeff) and Gayla Mortensen (Kevin) and four grandchildren, Mitchell and Kyle Little and Emilee and Colton Mortensen (who were all cherished deeply by their Poppy), and a brother Stanley (Mary Lu). His parents and a sister Shirley Derewecki (Richard) preceded him in death. He also leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> He grew up in Northeastern CO in the Willard/Iliff areas until he graduated and moved to Denver. He served in the Army during the Viet Nam War during 1965-1967. Before retiring early in 1999 to work at the Riverdale Golf Course and pursue his love of golf, he worked at Wilmore Nurseries, Montgomery Ward, and finished out his working career as a Mechanic/Shop Foreman for 29 years at Northpark Transplantation. <br /> <br /> In lieu of flowers, you may donate to: Colorado Donor Alliance, in memory of Kenneth Moline, at 720 South Colorado Blvd, Suite 800 North, Denver CO 80246.
