Joseph Lee Wenger <br /> Sept. 1, 1955 - Oct. 7, 2020 <br /> <br /> Joseph Lee Wenger was born on September 1st 1955 and passed away October 7th 2020 with his family by his side in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. <br /> <br /> Joe was a simple natured man that loved his family and friends. Joe worked for United Disposal for 37 years as a truck driver and loved his job and even on vacations would point out other garbage trucks. Joe enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family which always turned into a competition to see who could get the first fish. Joe had a true passion for woodworking and rock hounding but over the years due to his health he could not enjoy these passions but took the time to pass his knowledge and skills onto those around him. Joe radiated this vibe of love and joy he could make anyone laugh and loved to pick on those he enjoyed the most. <br /> Joe would love to set and watch the Bay at Bar View he would bring his pole but just set and watch the waves and boats. He loved to tell stories and to hear your stories. Joe would take time and help you no matter what it was. Joe loved his wife Sandra to no end as the day before he passed this was shown in so many ways that will never be forgotten. He reminded his children that he loved them and was proud of each and everyone of them. Dad will never be forgotten and will always bring joy with memories of his silly ways. <br /> <br /> Joe is survived by his wife Sandra. <br /> Sons, Casey, Richard, Micheal. <br /> Daughter, Cindy (Mike) <br /> Grandson, Rickie <br /> Brothers, Jim (Cheryl), Tom, Bill <br /> Sisters, Bev (Terry), Barb, Kathy (Mickie) <br /> as well as many nieces and nephews. <br /> Joe is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Elizbeth <br /> brothers, Charles and Jon. <br /> <br /> Graveside services will be at Hopewell Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 15, 2020. <br /> <br /> A reception will follow at Barb Sughrue house in South Salem.
