James Darryl Balentine

August 9, 1967 - June 5, 2020

James Darryl Balentine (Jimmy B) Born on August 9th 1967 in Lincoln Park Michigan, passed on June 5th 2020 in Taylor Michigan from a long battle and hard fight with cancer. Jimmy is survived by his father and step mother, James Earl Balentine and Frances Yvonne Balentine, as well as his sister Kimberlie Dawn DiCesare (Jim) and Daughter Cheyenne Brooke O'Brien (Kyle) and grandson Jameson O'Brien. With nephews, Nichlous Dolane, Stewart Angel, Cayle Dolane, and Ryan Morris. As well as nieces Nichole Dolane (Dennis), Peyton Morris, and numerous cousins and aunts and uncles. Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother Connie Workman Helton and his Grandparents Burns & Nova Workman, and Grandmother Roxie Villers. Jimmy worked as a Diesel Mechanic (ASE certified) for many years, he was also a handy man and could fix anything you threw in front of him. His greatest past times included, fishing, any type of water sports, riding a motorcycle or fixing them up, as well as going to the gun range with family and friends. He was a die hard fan of U of M football and the Detroit lions. Jimmy was taken too soon but we appreciate all the time we had with him, he will be greatly missed by many friends and family. As Jimmy wished, there will be a private burial in Alan, KY. As things are opening up we will give further details about a celebration of life for friends and family in Michigan.
