I'm sending my love to the McGill and Crilley clans. Jackie and I roomed together at LaSalle for all but one semester and have stayed in touch ever since - over 40 years. Usually, we talked on each other's birthdays and I was looking ahead to this August 5. I am heartbroken too and sad to be so far away from Philly (in Atlanta). Jackie was one of the strongest women I've ever known. She was funny as heck, devoted to her family, fierce in her convictions, wicked smart...my list goes on and on. I have so many memories that I wish I could share. The one that comes to mind first is the day she moved in to the third floor of St. Bernard's. It was a parade of McGills, all helping to deliver her belongings. It was also the beginning of our lifetime friendship. I will miss her so. Rest in power and peace, Jackie.

My sister Jackie was the heartbone of our family. After my husband Paul died in 2008, she spent many months between here and Oley to take care of me and my sons James and Jack. If there was one thing that Jackie was, she was family first. She had so many heartbreaks in her own life. The loss of her daughter Kathleen destroyed her, but she carried on and took my own young boys under her wing. She was Godmother to my son James, and a staunch advocate for my autistic son Jack. She was there w me for IEP meetings, at home therapies, calming his tantrums and handling him when I got exhausted. My boys loved her to the moon and back and then some. I miss you Jackie. Thank you for helping me fight the fight against autism and taking such good care of us after Paul died. She was true family. I will miss you so much my dear sister 😢

Growing up I spent many a night at the McGill home and always looked up to Jackie. She was so professional and grown up to me (although she was only 7 years older) it seemed like she had everything together. She was the first accountant I ever met and I thought she was brilliant. It was her music collection that her sister Ronnie and I "raided" that made me a Motown fan. I remember thinking how lucky Ronnie was to have an older sister. I remember going on vacation with Ronnie and the McGill family in Sea Isle. Great memories! May God Bless her and she rest in peace with her parents, brother John and brother-in-law Paul.
