Richard Howard Rowland
Richard Howard Rowland was a lover of nature, sports, the sea, travel, and his family. On February 25, 2026, after 93 wonderful years, he passed as he had always wanted;...
Gregory Paul Davis, 62, of Richmond, California passed May 15, 2020

Gregory was born July 19, 1957 to Milton and Evelyn Davis (Evelyn Bowie), where they raised their family, in Richmond, California.

At an early age, his relationship with Christ was established. He was baptised and accepted Jesus Christ as his savior.

He was educated in the Richmond Unified School District (W.C.C.U.S.D.), where his mother would enter into retirement from her teaching career. He attended De Anza High school with the graduating class 1975. "Go Dons!"

Gregory Davis is a veteran that served the Armed Forces of the United States Navy from 1975-78. We appreciate his service to this country!

In his free time, Greg enjoyed watching a baseball game, fishing, playing hand poker games, and loved to eat a good meal.

Greg was surpassed in death by his mother, Evelyn Davis (Bowie); father, Milton Davis; and sister, Pamela Davis; also sister Marie Davis.

Gregory is survived by his sons Gregory Davis Jr, Micheal Davis, and Marcus Davis; Brothers, Micheal and Melvin Davis; also Kenneth and Karl Davis; sisters, Gayesandra Thompson and Patsy Davis-Battle; also Andrea, Jackie, and Karen Davis; nieces and nephews, Andre, Monique, Diante, Marcus, Charlie, Candice, Nicollette, Melvin Jr, Fontine, Mikeala, Coleshia, Jasmine, and Yasmine. He has a growing list of great nieces and nephews and much more family that will miss him dearly.

Greg's life may seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quality of time in which one lives. He will be deeply missed.
