Francele Braun

Francele "Fran" Braun, aged 82, passed away peacefully from cancer on November 17, 2024, at the Villa Marie Claire Hospice in Saddle River, New Jersey, surrounded by the love and comfort of family and friends. A beloved daughter, cousin, aunt and friend, Fran touched the lives of many with her generosity, sense of adventure and buoyant spirit. <br /> Born in Brooklyn, New York on May 1, 1943 to the late Harry Braun and Matilda "Tillie" Rubinowitz Braun, Fran was proceeded in death by her brother Marvin Braun. She is survived and deeply missed by nephew Jason Braun and niece Kimberly Braun Marmon, and will be forever cherished by her partner Paul Waddington. Her memory lives on in the hearts of beloved cousins and friends. <br /> A resident of Manhattan, Fran retired after 25+ years at Citibank. Always the consummate people-person, she followed that with careers in real estate and retail sales. Fran also discovered a love for country life, and resided part-time in Woodstock, New York. <br /> Fran lived an audacious life full of meaningful relationships and joyful appreciation. She loved her family and friends, her independence, dancing into the night, and the promise of "what comes next."
