Elaine Rose Pirofsky

May 7, 1935 - August 14, 2019

Elaine Rose Pirofsky, 84, of Coral Springs, FL, passed away with the love of her family on August 14, 2019.
She was born to parents Louis and Martha Weiss, on May 7, 1935 in Flushing, New York.

Elaine & Husband "Stormin" Norman owned & worked as Owner/Operators of Harbor Beach Market & Plaza for 15 + years, along with their son, Scott.
After 15 + of service, mom and dad retired from Harbor Beach Market and Plaza.

She enjoyed the gift of reading Danielle Steel romance novels, received much joy from daily faithful watching of Steve Harvey (Family Feud & The Steve Harvey Show), committed to being a fitness enthusiast-she enjoyed many years at Golds Gym working out with her 3 girlfriends every day at 4 am! It brought the greatest joy to mom spending time with her son, Scott & his wife Lisa as well as her precious time spent in person and daily phone conversations with her 4 granddaughters, Melissa, Liza, Nicolina and Alexa and 2 great grandsons, Noah and Samuel. Weekly trips to Walmart was a great joy for her and she loved her 4 legged companion, Tarz, which she rescued in 2007.

Elaine met "Stormin" Norman Pirofsky in 1958. They were married on August 17, 1960 in New York. Together they raised 3 children: Dr. Jeffrey Glen Pirofsky, Scott Hugh Pirofsky and Suzanne Lisa Young.

Elaine is survived by only brother, Alan Weiss, her 3 children and their spouses, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. Mom's memory will live on through her children and grandchildren.

The family has entrusted Star Of David Memorial Gardens with the arrangements. A Memorial Service in honor of our dear mom was scheduled Sunday, August 18th @ 1:30 at Star Of David.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
