She was born on February 9, 1955 in Florida, daughter of Durward and Ruth Tyus. <br /> <br /> She leaves to cherish her memories: husband of 29 years, Roger of Rocky Mount, NC; 2 children, Jeff Bowman & his wife Chanel of Greenville, NC and Teresa Anderson & her husband Craig of Greenville, NC; and her four sisters: Helen MacDonnell & husband Craig of Mesa, AZ, Patricia Whiteside & husband Steve of Greenwood, IN, Pamela Janes & husband Wayne of Raleigh, NC, and Kathryn Velez of Greenwood, IN. <br /> <br /> DeeDee loved her two grandchildren Hannah "Hannah Banana" and Gabrielle "Gabby". DeeDee loved her fur babies; she was always taking in a stray cat or dog.
