Dan Lee Robinson

August 8, 1961 - May 7, 2019

My heart is broken; my dear brother, Dan L. Robinson passed away May 7, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, Kansas. He formally resided at Alma Manor Nursing Center in Alma, Kansas.

Dan Lee Robinson was born to Shalina Robinson in Junction City, Kansas on August 8, 1961 at Geary Community Hospital.

Dan L. Robinson was and shall remain my big brother all my life. He gave me my first bicicycle and taught me how to ride it. He lived a very hard life in this world, while trying to keep his head up and trying to survive with several stints in Hutchinson Correctional Facility, and later at Osawatomie State Hospital.

I will remember he always managed to come home to us and see us each and every time. I miss my brother dearly especially now, as I write this now with tears streaming down my face. Dan died two days before my 50th birthday. I love you and we miss you, Napoleon (poe), David and Veronica (mite) we love you always. May you R.I.P.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shalina Robinson and sister, Vennia Autrey. He is survived by three brothers, Daniel Robinson of Fort Scott, KS, David Wright of Wakefield, KS & Napoleon Wright of Junction City, Kansas; three sisters, Velma Robinson of Hayward, CA, Arethalia (Virginia) Pratt of Manhattan, KS & Veronica Hicks of Junction City, KS; two nieces & a nephew, Keionna, Shalina & David; as well as a host of cousins.
