COVID-19 Global Community Wall

COVID-19 Community Wall

Life is anything but normal these days. The Covid-19 pandemic is changing the ways we interact and behave, but we can't let it divide us. For most of us, our role is to stay out of harm's way through social distancing, while medical professionals work tirelessly to bring this situation under control.

For those on the front lines, it means continuing to work to save lives and keep the rest of society running. They do this at great risk to themselves, their families and communities.

While we practice social distancing, quarantines and self-isolation, let's not forget that we are stronger together:

  • Let's pay tributes those who have lost their lives as the realities of Covid-19 have unfolded globally.
  • Let's offer encouraging words and prayers to those who are sick now, and those who will face a personal battle with Covid-19 in the coming weeks and months.
  • Let's voice support for those on the front lines: medical professionals, grocery store workers, pharmacies, and other essential service providers. These are the heroes fighting to save lives and reduce panic.
  • Let's share positive thoughts and support for those in quarantines and isolation, as we weather this storm together in solitude.

Leave a positive message, kind remembrance or words of support below. Together, we can lift each other's spirits and weather this challenging time with strength, empathy, love and compassion.

The Italian airforce used colored smoke to show the Italian flag taking down coronavirus as the national anthem played. Thoughts go out to Italy!

We are all in this together. We may feel alone due to social distancing rules but by working together (on our own) we will stop the spread and we will beat this. Let's all use technology to reach out to our friends and neighbours to see if they need help or just to say hi. I'm giving a huge shout out to our essential service workers keeping things working and to our frontline medical staff for everything that they are facing and having to go through to help save those of us that are infected. This is an unprecedented time and we are all in this together, learning a new reality, fighting for survival.

Anywho! It’s hard for me to know what to say, this is all so new.
Sharing as much love to those that feel lost and scared. You are not alone. Those who have lost anyone. You are not alone. To those that want to scream! You are not alone!
Here’s a picture of some of my house plants. They been keeping me company at home.

Thinking of everyone on the front lines of this pandemic! The people providing us with medical care, groceries and other essential services are heroes. They are risking their health and the health of their families to keep the rest of society safe. Thank you for all that you do.

Huge thumbs up to all those in the service community who are helping to keep everything going. And a special shout out to the medical professionals and emergency workers who are most at risk, with long hours and constant contact.
