COVID-19 Global Community Wall

COVID-19 Community Wall

Life is anything but normal these days. The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the ways we interact and behave, but we can't let it divide us. For most of us, our role is to stay out of harm's way through social distancing, while medical professionals work tirelessly to bring this situation under control.

For those on the front lines, it means continuing to work to save lives and keep the rest of society running. They do this at great risk to themselves, their families and communities.

While we practice social distancing, quarantines and self-isolation, let's not forget that we are stronger together:

  • Let's pay tributes those who have lost their lives as the realities of COVID-19 have unfolded globally.
  • Let's offer encouraging words and prayers to those who are sick now, and those who will face a personal battle with COVID-19 in the coming weeks and months.
  • Let's voice support for those on the front lines: medical professionals, grocery store workers, pharmacies, and other essential service providers. These are the heroes fighting to save lives and reduce panic.
  • Let's share positive thoughts and support for those in quarantines and isolation, as we weather this storm together in solitude.

Leave a positive message, kind remembrance or words of support below. Together, we can lift each other's spirits and weather this challenging time with strength, empathy, love and compassion.

I was in despair with all the grief surrounding the world. I could not put my arms around it all. Then i found a small book at our church library called Silencing the Night. It is about grief and finding hope. I had a new perspective after reading it. It's different, but has many wonderful insights into why looking to God is the key to hope.

Thank you to each and every person on the frontline and all the essential workers for making the sacrifice you do each and every day to take care of all humanity! I have family, friends, and neighbors that are making those sacrifices each day themselves. Our hearts go out to each and everyone of you. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We stay home for you! We practice social distancing. We wash our hands! We wear masks when we do have to go out for supplies. In honor of each of you and what you do for us we have a special display of lights decorating our home to say....THANK YOU! GOD BLESS! 😷❤️🌎🇺🇸

I am praying daily for all the healthcare workers and essential workers that they may stay safe and free from COVID-19. Also, I am praying for all those who are infected and battling this disease. Lord, help them to overcome this virus and get well soon! Lastly, I pray for all those who lost their battle against this disease. May they rest in peace and their loved ones be comforted by you Lord! We will get through this together but apart! In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Amen!

This is a rough and emotional time, my mom in the hospital and me quarantined but the one thing that keeps us going is our faith. We have come to together as a family through prayer and belief and are blessed with hope, love and comfort. Thanks be to God for the hope, thank you family and friends for the love and a special thanks to all the medical staff and the essential workers for providing comfort to me and my mom and all those needing care, needing food, a friendly face and a kind word. THANK YOU. GOD BLESS US ALL.
