Corinne H Alderfer

Corinne H Alderfer

May 1, 1928 - June 18, 2020

On June 18, 2020 at Lehigh Valley In-patient hospice, Corinne H Alderfer took her last breath on this earth, and went to be with her Lord and savior. While we are happy for her, she left an enormous void as beloved mom, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.

Corinne was born on May1,1928, in Mainland, Pa., to Edwin and Miriam Heckler. She lived most of her life in Harleysville, PA where her father was a prominent figure and business man. He owned Hecklers Market in the center of town, was a Postmaster for a time, and was the president of the Harleysville Savings and Loan for many years. She married her childhood sweetheart, Pat (Milton L) Alderfer, whose father owned the Hardware Store just a few doors away, and they were blessed to spend more than 50 years together, and raised three sons:
Scott (Linda) from Emmaus, PA, with children Callie (Greg), Ryan (Shannon) of Emmaus, and Carrie Mendoza (Zeus) of California.
Roger, also from Emmaus.
Jeffrey, who died in 1998 from Multiple Sclerosis. Jeff (Theresa Jo) was the proud father of Danielle of Safety Harbor Florida, Courteney of Estes Park Colorado, and Andre (Alison) of Colorado.
She was also blessed with 10 Great grandchildren; Haedon, Bryce, and Kyla Kimmel, Gaelen, and Alivia Mendoza, Miles Ferargo, Andre, Alli, and Morgan Miles, and Eva Grace Alderfer.
Corinne is also survived by her brother Gerald, and his wife Gloria of Souderton Pa., plus many nieces, and nephews.

Corinne has resided with Scott and Linda in Emmaus for the past 14 years, after moving back to Pennsylvania with Pat, from their home in Clearwater, Florida.
She was an avid reader, quilter, and seamstress. But mostly, she was a happy and amazing woman who loved God and her family, and always put them first. She will be greatly missed by friends and family, and never forgotten.

Please join us in a remembrance of Corinne's 92 years of life, with your comments and photos. Due to the Coronavirus we regret that there will be no formal memorial service.

WE REQUEST THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT SEND FLOWERS.
