Colleene Marie Piel

Colleene Marie Piel, Age 67, of Hawkinsville, GA, passed away at home on Tuesday, 9/23/2025. Colleene was born to parents Walter and Patricia Zender, on 10/02/1957 in Chicago, IL. <br /> <br /> Colleene attended Bellevue Senior High School and obtained her GED. <br /> Colleene went to school for CMA, Certified Medical Assistant and later worked as a retail department store manager until a back injury prevented her from working. <br /> <br /> Colleene found peace in coloring with gel pens. Colleene looked forward to her trips to Florida for the Christmas holiday her last few years. Colleene loved her fur babies, her last was Teddy Bear. <br /> <br /> Colleene is survived by her sisters Pamela Hines, Donna Kohout (Ken); granddaughter, Kenlee Carter (Chad), nephews, Adam Jeffcoat (Robin), Bradley Hammond (Shanen), Caleb McCollister; nieces, Donnette Kohout, Chantelle Kohout; great-nephews, Adam Jeffcoat Jr., Chase Hammond, Cooper Hammond; Tyler Kohout; great-nieces, Leighanna Jeffcoat, Skylar Jeffcoat, Donnette Kohout, Chantelle Kohout, also her best friend, Rebecca Shortridge and many other friends who will miss her dearly. <br /> <br /> She was preceded in death by her sons, William Parker and Kenneth Parker. <br /> <br /> No services will be held. <br /> <br /> Colleene loved animals and in lieu of flowers, Colleene would appreciate a donation made to Hawkinsville Pulaski County Animal Control, Bow Wow Ln, Hawkinsville, GA 31036. <br /> Web address: https://share.google/D8VEr5dhEFL7DCFKw <br /> or a shelter in your area.
