Carlyn McIntosh was born to Flora Mae McIntosh Baldwin on March 5, 1935 in Taylortown, North Carolina. He attended Academy Heights High School. Following his graduation from high school, he moved to Detroit Michigan in 1953 at the age of 18, where he worked at Ford Motor Company Rouge Plant. He later went on to school and trained to become a Quality Control Torque Inspector at Ford's Wayne, Michigan plant, where he retired after 44 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local 900. In 1980, he married the love of his live Ora Lee Rankins. Carl was a wonderful person, loving, king-hearted and generous. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. Carlyn is survived by his wife, Ora Lee McIntosh; two daughters. Kellye Nickole Hyan McIntosh (Peter Hyan), and Jaleesa Morrissette McIntosh; and grandson, Jakob Peter Hyan, and a host of relatives and friends.
