April 13, 2000 - February 20, 2019

Caleb Jamar Elijah Roach, a.k.a Demo Duck, was born into the union of Anthony Devon Roach Sr. and Allane "Poochie" Roach in Memphis, Tennessee. He was the youngest of four children. <br /> <br /> Caleb early education began in Memphis, Tennessee and concluded at Spartanburg High School in Spartanburg, SC. He was a graduating senior of the upcoming class of 2019. <br /> <br /> Caleb was baptized in 2005 by the late Pastor Shirley Prince at Phillipiane V. He has had a long unique spiritual journey. To know him was a life experience that you would never forget. The impression if his life will leave an everlasting mark on all who knew him. <br /> <br /> Caleb met the love of his life, his eleventh grade year Rachel Perry the two were inseparable through life, illness, and death. The relationship changed Caleb in such a remarkable way. God had truly annotated their relationship. Rachel was immediately accepted into the family. <br /> <br /> Caleb was a dedicated member of ROTC and through the program gained academic discipline, responsibility, leadership, and structure but most importantly it inspired him to pursue higher education. He was looking forward to the fall and attending Johnson C. Smith University, where there he would have majored in music with a minor in biology. <br /> <br /> Caleb enjoyed creating music with his brothers and God brothers in the rap group Otha Side. He enjoyed eating, spending time with his family, and he truly enjoyed getting into with nature. He had a personality that fit any situation. He was the enforcer of peace, harmony, and the safety of all he loved. <br /> <br /> Caleb is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Bennett Rivers; grandfather, Anthony Roach; and step mother, Antounette Stewart. Caleb leaves to cherish his loving memories his mom & dad; siblings; grandparents; great grandparents; a hoot of aunts, uncles & cousins; and family friends. <br /> <br /> The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to everyone during their time of bereavement. Your words of comfort and prayers shall never be forgotten. May God shower you with many blessings.

    Oh the joy you gave me along the way❣️ I will forever cherish the many “nurse mom” talks we had, along with your smiles and hugs. You inspired me with the greatness in you Caleb Roach 💙❣️ May your life inspire others to that same greatness. Your love and joy, along with your mothers devotion, will always be part of my nursing legacy. I will love you always. God bless and comfort you all.
