The Bible has a lot to say on the topic of death, dying and the grief survivors feel when a loved one passes away.

Many people find comfort in religion during times of grief. For Christians, the Bible is an obvious guide for all life matters, but especially in dealing with the death of a loved one. For non-Christians who grew up with Christian influences, there may also be a nostalgic interest in revisiting the comforting words oft repeated in childhood. For some, these words matter the most in times of loss.

If you are grieving, or know someone who has recently lost a loved one, these 10 bible verses about grief can offer some comfort.
