Rita Fletcher December 27, 1948 - September 7, 2018

Rita (Collin) Fletcher, age 69, peacefully passed away in her home on Friday, September 7, 2018. She leaves three daughters: Jennifer (Costa) Micacci and her husband Vincent, Michelle (Costa) Smola and her husband Jason, and Adrian (Fletcher) Adams and her husband Tom. She was affectionately known as Memere to her five grandchildren: Evelyn (16), Anthony (15), Taylor (15), Angelina (13), and Hanna (13). <br /> <br /> Rita was born in Maine in 1948, the daughter of the late Fernande and Gerard Collin. She is survived by four siblings: Daniel Collin and wife MaryAnn, Charlene (Collin) France and husband Stuart, Debbie (Collin) Nelson and husband Robert, and James Collin and wife Kris along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Rachel (Collin) Murawski. <br /> <br /> She proudly worked for JCPenney for 35 years rising through the ranks to be become one of the company's first female store managers. After retiring, she fulfilled her dream of moving to Cape Cod where she spent her days making new friends, playing cards, golfing, bowling, and volunteering. <br /> <br /> The family will be honoring her life in a private celebration. <br /> <br /> In lieu of flowers, memorial gift donations can be made to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org).

Rita was a fun person to talk with especially during Thanksgiving & Christmas Season at her brother Dan and Mary Ann’s home. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this terrible loss.
